School outreach and recruitment tours

How USIDM meets students where they are — and what that field presence offers a partner institution.

Why schools come first

The student journey does not begin on a university website. It begins in secondary schools — with counselors, teachers and parents whose confidence decides which options a family will even consider.

That is why school relationships sit at the center of USIDM's field presence. A university partnership gives USIDM something to represent; school relationships provide the students to meet.

What outreach involves

Information sessions

Sessions at schools that explain how U.S. higher education works — structure first, institutions second.

Counselor relationships

Ongoing contact with the people students actually ask, equipped with accurate, labelled information.

School and university visits

Scheduled visits and tours through participating schools, where students and families meet the team in person.

Fairs and forums

Participation in education fairs and forums alongside participating institutions.

What a tour offers a partner institution

Structured presence in front of students, families and counselors — in the market's languages, aligned to the market's calendar — without building a field team of your own. Interest generated on tour flows into the fit assessment rather than into a mailing list: the students you hear about are students for whom your institution may genuinely fit.

The confirmation rule

USIDM publishes event names, dates, schools and tour stops only once they are confirmed. If it is not confirmed, it does not appear — the same discipline that governs everything else we publish.
